Why do i see many drivers? Below is a list of drivers that may be suitable for your device. With the different devices, they can have the same driver, it's because they all use the same chip manufacturer. How to select driver? If you are looking for an update, pickup the latest one.
If your driver isn't working, use the driver having the same OEM with the your laptop/desktop brand name.
Hi, I would suggest you to go to the manufacturers website in the link below install the said drivers in compatibility mode and see if it works: Here are the steps to run a program in compatibility mode: Open the Program Compatibility troubleshooter by clicking the Start button, and then clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type troubleshooter, and then click Troubleshooting.
Under Programs, click Run programs made for previous versions of Windows. Follow the instructions in the troubleshooter. If you cannot install a program, insert the installation disc for the program and, using the troubleshooter, browse to the program's setup file, usually called Setup.exe, Install.exe, or something similar. The troubleshooter is not designed to work on programs that have an.msi file name extension.

On a recent, I was working on integrating the device drivers for a Dell Latitude E6400 laptop and came across the dreaded ‘unknown device’. First, let me take a step back and explain the approach I use when it comes to managing device drivers. I usually try to keep driver packages to a minimum since I typically work with customers that have locations spread all over the place, connected by very slow links and no local distribution points (think ). One of the first things I do when working on the drivers for a new hardware model is apply the base Windows 7 image without any extra drivers. This allows me to keep the driver package as small as possible by using the Microsoft drivers that are included with Windows 7 when possible. I usually make an exception for certain drivers – network drivers being one of them, where I use the drivers provided by the OEM (in this case, Dell). After applying my base Windows 7 image, I see two device bangs – one for Broadcom USH and the other for the ‘Unknown device’: Now usually identifying devices on Dell systems is pretty easy since they are pretty good about their driver downloads on their support site.
However, every now and then there may be a driver that you need that is buried in one of the Rxxxxx packs and filed under a category that you would not guess in a million years. One method of locating the driver is to download the driver CAB file (look under the Systems Management section), expand the CAB file and let plug and play figure it out. This method works just fine for the Broadcom USH device shown above and will work with ‘most’ other devices that show up with missing drivers. The exception in this case is the ‘Unknown device’. The reason for this is because the driver for this device is not included in the CAB file. Part of the reason is that Dell does not have a Windows 7 driver for this device (USB VID413C&PID8149&REV0100).
However, if you look under the Windows Vista device drivers under the Network section, you will see a device listed called Wireless 410 UWB – that is the driver that you want to download and use. Once the device driver is loaded, you will see it identified as Dell Wireless 410 Wireless USB Device and Dell Wireless 410 Wireless USB Host Wire Adapter. This has fixed the second! Looking at the Hardware id for the Base System Device I can see this: PCI VEN1180&DEV0843&SUBSYS02331028&REV11 PCI VEN1180&DEV0843&SUBSYS02331028 PCI VEN1180&DEV0843&CC088000 PCI VEN1180&DEV0843&CC0880 Google shows it is for the Card Reader (RICOH).
I downloaded from Ricoh to install on the machine but the! Is still there. If this is for the card reader I'm not really concern because currently it is very happy to read my SD cards. Many thanks again. Hi can you please help me with this fingerprint reader installation?
I install Windows 7 64 bit and that is the only unknown device. I tried tons of different driver - applications from (very confusing) dell site. My service tag is: Dell Latitude E6400 After installation and running MS update only one device remained unknown: I found the driver here: downloaded the CAB, unpacked and updated the driver from there, now i have everything recognised in device manager. But now im stuck, no biometric device in control panel and i dont know now which application i have to install to have finaly possibility to set up fingerprint reader on the windows boot I tried this package: DDPASetupTDC1KA0664bitsZPE.exe but can not scan fingerprint, not recognising when i try to input and gives error message very fast, i dont have time properly to slide my finger and its no light (should be?) on reader or any sign of 'life'. Wizard jumps after choosing finger to error message. Can please somebody help with this?
Download Driver Windows 7
What should i install? I really dont understand, that despite of discovering my service tag dell site offers bunch of drivers-applications, without explanation and multiply versions. Why can not be offered exactly the needed and newest NECESSARY files-drivers?
Well it looks likes this could be a wireless bluetooth card After selecting your system on the driver page for your model Select Windows Vista 32 bitthen under network you'll find a wireless 370 bluetooth mini card driver. Download itright click on the setup.exe fileclick propertiescompatibility tabdrop down menuselect Vistathen check the box run in compatibility. Tried that and no luck. Even running in compatibility mode it tells me that the update is not applicable to my system. But there's something else I hadn't noticed before and that's that my WM6.5 phone (HTC HD2) indicates in Devices and Printers that there's a problem. When I troubleshoot it it says that the driver for Bluetooth Peripheral Device is not installed.
However, everything seems to be working ok with the phone, but when I look at the properties of the device the manufacturer, model, serial number, etc. Are 'unavailable'. Maybe I need a driver from HTC, except they don't have one listed! Similar help and support threads Thread Forum I have a Latitude E6400 that I recently clean installed WIN7 ultimate on.
Everything was working great and continues to work great undocked. When in the docking station , however I tend do have problems. I thought initially it was just related to the NIC card as it seemed to only start. General Discussion Yes hello.
